Current Positions Available 
 
Project Coordinator, Gang Initiative Project

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The incumbent will develop, implement and manage the Gang Initiative Project for Community Assessment and Treatment Services. The Initiative services current gang members looking to leave the gang lifestyle. The incumbent will need to have strong collaborative skills to deal with agency partners, law enforcement and the ODRC. In addition to project management and development, the position will provide direct case management to the clients and supervise one case manager.

You will have a great deal of responsibility for the design and initial planning of the project, so strong organizational skills are critical. The position has a great deal of independence and range of action. You will be judged on your performance, so do not apply unless you are willing to take on a challenge.

There will be frequent and regular travel to the Grafton Correctional Facility. For the first two months, this travel will be almost daily and will continue as at least a weekly occurrence. There will be good deal of interface with many outside agencies at high levels.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The incumbent must have at least an LSW or LPC or LICDC. Higher credentials are a plus. We will be looking for evidence of strong administrative, program management and political experience as well as specific knowledge and experience with community resources and the client population.
