Services

C.A.T.S. is a contract agency of the Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services Board of Cuyahoga County (ADASBCC). In addition, the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (ODADAS) and the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) accredit C.A.T.S., so that we may provide a comprehensive continuum of chemical dependency treatment services and programs. These programs are designed to address the needs of individuals at different levels of harmful involvement with alcohol and other drugs.

Programs & Services

Since 1990, we have been able to assist thousands of people with chemical dependency and mental health issues through assessment, crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, case management, intensive outpatient services, and residential treatment.

C.A.T.S. also assists individuals at various levels of involvement with the criminal justice system. The goal of these programs is to aid offenders in developing the necessary personal and social resources to avoid legal recidivism, achieve abstinence, and sustain productive social roles.

C.A.T.S. provides a continuum of treatment services for recovering men & women. Treatment and case management focus on such challenges as single parenting, lack of transportation, unemployment, unsafe living environments, childcare, incest, abuse, victimization, and pregnancy.

A list and brief description of C.A.T.S. current services and programs follows:

  • Residential Treatment Program (RTP): 90-day residential substance abuse treatment for adult male offenders.
  • Therapeutic Community (TC): 6-9 month behavior modification, residential substance abuse treatment for adult male offenders.

  • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): Day and Evening group counseling sessions available to both male and female clients.
