Community Assessment & Treatment Services, Inc. (CATS), prepares to celebrate 20 years of
service and the grand opening of its new women’s residential treatment facility

On June 3rd, 2010, Channel 5’s morning anchor, Kimberly Gill, will welcome more than 200
supporters of CATS to the Bohemian National Hall in Slavic Village as they share in the celebration
of so many successes. The event is being attended by local and state politicians, funders, donors,
staff, board members, and Jerry Greenfield of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream. For over 20 years, CATS has
been providing alcohol and drug addiction treatment to adult men and women.

CATS began construction of a $2.2 million state of the art treatment facility housing 48 residential
beds for women as well as a large outpatient department after receiving a $500,000 grant from
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati. This grant, along with support from The Huntington
National Bank, Eva L. and Joseph M. Bruening Foundation, The Cleveland Foundation, The
Woodruff Foundation, Thomas H. White Foundation, a KeyBank Trust, The Wolpert Fund, The
Steffee Fund, The Higley Fund, The Third Federal Foundation and Deaconess Community
Foundation and many other public, private and individual donors, made Rebuilding Lives &
Reunifying Families, the work of CATS, possible.

Celebratory festivities include:
